Neil Robertson battled past Kyren Wilson to reach the Coral World Grand Prix final in Cheltenham.

The Australian held off a gutsy comeback from Kettering's Wilson to win 6-4 and set up a title showdown with Scotsman Graeme Dott, who also won 6-4 when seeing off Tom Ford.

Robertson raced into a 3-0 lead and, until he sank the opening red in frame four, Wilson had not potted a ball for half an hour.

But Wilson got his cueing arm going to take that frame in two visits and reduce the arrears to two at the mid-session interval.

A careless in-off ultimately cost Wilson a cagey 36-minute fifth frame but determined breaks of 73 and 129 hauled him right back into the match at 4-3.

Robertson capitalised on a mistake to knock in 69 and win the eighth, only to let Wilson in to halve the deficit again with a break of 84.

Robertson was trailing in the 10th but a spectacular plant to open up the reds and a 68 break saw him over the line.
