World number one Judd Trump cruised into the semi-finals of the German Masters with a 5-1 win over Michael Georgiou.

Trump took the opening frame in Berlin with a break of 81 and although Georgiou hit back with a superb 112 in the next, Trump took the next four frames in succession.

The world champion made a break of 73 to move back in front and finished the match in style with back-to-back contributions of 119 and 122.

Australia's Neil Robertson was in equally devastating form as he whitewashed Elliot Slessor, the left-hander making breaks of 133, 101, 94, 73 and 53 in a second 5-0 win of the day.

Robertson had earlier beaten Mitchell Mann by the same scoreline in the second round and also thrashed Zhou Yuelong 9-0 in the final of the European Masters last weekend.

The 2010 world champion will face Shaun Murphy in the semi-finals after Murphy beat Zhao Xintong 5-3, sealing victory with a break of 127.

Trump will face Graeme Dott in the last four after the former world champion made breaks of 68, 62, 76 and 121 in beating Matt Selt 5-2.
