World champion Judd Trump booked his place in the Champion of Champions final with a hard-fought 6-4 win over Mark Allen.
Trump stormed into a 3-0 lead over the 2018 Masters champion but Allen came roaring back.
The Northern Irishman got on the board in frame four before hitting back-to-back century breaks to level the match at 3-3.
Allen made it 393 points without reply and took the lead at 4-3, but Trump rallied against his fellow left-hander.
The 30-year-old knocked in a break of 82 to level the match and then benefited from a stroke of luck in the ninth frame as he missed a long red which rattled in the jaws before running along the bottom cushion and into the opposite corner.
It was the help he needed to take a 5-4 lead and Trump took full advantage with a 98 break to seal victory.
He will take on Neil Robertson in Sunday's final in Coventry after the Australian's 6-5 semi-final win against Ronnie O'Sullivan.
