Ronnie O'Sullivan took a 5-3 lead over Neil Robertson in the Coral Tour Championship final after dominating the middle frames of the first session.

Robertson took the first two frames but O'Sullivan hit back with breaks of 74, 97, 71 and 67 to lead 4-2.

He took an early lead in the next but let Robertson in for a 54 break, which looked like earning him the frame.
The Australian had the chance to seal the deal after a safety battle only to miss the final red and O'Sullivan cleared up, nervelessly potting a tricky black along the cushion for a 5-2 lead.

Robertson dug deep, though, to win the final frame and go into Sunday's two sessions only two behind.
