Judd Trump blew his chance of a 147 but still cruised through to the semi-finals of the English Open in Manchester.
Trump missed a simple red when he sat on 96 in the third frame of his last-eight clash with former world champion John Higgins.
But the 27-year-old, who whitewashed Mark Williams on Thursday night, was in dominant form once again as he eased to a 5-1 win.
Starting with a break of 120 in the opening frame, Trump was pulled back before taking four frames in a row to go through.
In the semi-finals Trump will play Barry Hawkins who won the last three frames of the match to beat Ricky Walden 5-2.
