Judd Trump knocked out defending champion Stuart Bingham 6-3 to book his place in the final of the Shanghai Masters.

Trump will play Kyren Wilson in Sunday's final, after the 23-year-old followed Friday's exciting defeat of home favourite Ding Junhui with a 6-1 victory over Mark Allen.

Trump trailed world champion Bingham 2-1 but hit back strongly by winning five of the next six frames.

Trump took the opening frame with a break of 95, before Bingham responded with runs of 98 and 118 to take the lead.

The world number seven levelled the contest with a break of 100 and won the next two to move 4-2 ahead.

Bingham reduced the deficit to a single frame but the beaten 2012 finalist dominated the next and closed out the contest in frame nine with a break of 62.

Wilson, who edged a decider against Ding, found Allen less of a challenge.

Allen was 5-0 down before he got off the mark - but his hopes of an unlikely revival were swiftly ended as Wilson won the next frame to wrap up a convincing success.
