The Republic of Ireland were defeated by Thailand in their third match at the Snooker World Cup in China today.
The Irish pair of Ken Doherty and Fergal O'Brien were defeated 3-2 by their Thai counterparts.
The result follows their opening 4-1 loss to China B and yesterday’s 5-0 victory over the United Arab Emirates.
Ireland's next match is against Germany tomorrow.
