Ken Doherty has booked his place in the quarter finals of the China Open snooker today with a 5-3 win over Stephen Lee.
The win almost certainly keeps Doherty in the top 16 in the world for next season.
Stephen Hendry and Mark Williams are also through, as is Paul Hunter who beat Jimmy White 5-3.
Earlier Steve Davis was taken to hospital for an X-ray after conceding his match with Ricky Walden. Davis banged his head on a steel door after signing autographs.
