Mark William and Ronnie O'Sullivan have advanced to the semi-finals of the Failte Ireland Irish Masters at Citywest.
Welshman Williams, without a title victory since October 2003 and struggling to retain his place in the world's top 16, recovered from a poort start, when he lost the opening two frames, to beat 2002 finalist Stephen Lee 6-4 in today's penultimate quarter-final.
He will meet world champion and world number one Ronnie O'Sullivan in the last four after the 'Rocket' saw off a spirited display by Northern Ireland's Gerard Greene to win the last quarter-final tonight.
Yesterday, Robert Milkins beat Dave Harold 6-3 to book his semi-final spot after Matthew Stevens had ousted Stephen Hendry on a 6-5 scoreline.
