Former champion Mark Williams is out of the world snooker championship at the Crucible in Sheffield. Williams lost 13-9 to Anthony Hamilton in their second round match this afternoon.
Earlier, John Higgins and Stephen Lee both reached the quarter-finals. Higgins had a 13-2 win over Graeme Dott, while Lee eased to a 13-3 win over Australia's Quinten Hann. Higgins will now face Matthew Stevens and Lee meets defending champion Ronnie O'Sullivan.
