England's David Gray has pulled off yet another shock at the Regal Scottish Open by beating defending champion Peter Ebdon to reach the final. Gray had already ended John Higgins and Stephen Hendry's interests in the tournament and will now face either Stephen Lee or Nigel Bond.
"It's unbelievable really. Before this week I hadn't even been in a quarter-final and now I'm through to the final. There's no reason why I can't win it now. I've proved that I'm good enough to beat the top players so this is as good a time as any to start winning titles.
"I felt pretty good in the last frame but it's always difficult to get over the line and because I haven't been this far before, I found it twice as hard," said Gray.
