Play in the first round of the World Championships continues today. In the 2nd session of their Round 1 match, Fergal O'Brien leads Chris Small by 9 frames to 7.Meanwhile Joe Swail has defeated England's Paul Hunter by 10 frames to 6. Last night, defending champion Stephen Hendry crashed out of the Championship at the first hurdle when he was beaten 10-7 by Stuart Bingham. Hendry's potting was not up to its usual high standard in the morning session and he struggled to a 5-4 lead. But, the Scot's game was, if anything, worse in the evening and Basildon-based world No 92 Bingham, a former world amateur champion, won the first four frames of the session on his way to springing a major Crucible surprise.
