Ireland U-20s unchanged for meeting with England in the Six Nations

Ireland U-20 coach Nigel Carolan has named an unchanged team from that which beat France for Friday’s RBS 6 Nations clash against England at Donnybrook Stadium (7.05pm, live on RTÉ 2).

The 37-20 win over the French was impressive and Carolan is hoping for something similar on what he describes as “a fast pitch at Donnybrook.”

He said: “We are in a good place mid tournament with two wins from two. While the display against France was very pleasing, the English side will bring a huge amount of physicality with them, so we know the challenge we face.”

"If we can match them in the physical department, we hope to reproduce a similiar performance like we did two weeks ago. The squad have worked very hard in training and are relishing the opportunity to play on a fast pitch at Donnybrook in front of a vocal home crowd."

Ireland U-20: Billy Dardis, Jack Owens, Garry Ringrose, Sam Arnold, Stephen Fitzgerald, Ross Byrne, Nick McCarthy, Jeremy Loughman, Zack McCall, Oisin Heffernan, David O'Connor, Alex Thompson, Josh Murphy, Rory Moloney, Lorcan Dow.

Replacements: Adam McBurney, Michael Lagan, Conan O'Donnell, Cian Romaine, Nick Timoney, Jack Cullen, Joey Carbery, Harrison Brewer.
