The Six Nations Council have announced the schedule of matches for the 2010 RBS 6 Nations Championship, which will kick-off in Croke Park on Saturday, 6 February, when Ireland meet Italy.

After that, Decaln Kidney's side will face France in Paris on Saturday, 13 February, followed by another away encounter against England at Twickenham on Saturday, 27 February.

The Irish will conclude their defence of the championship with two home games, with Wales the visitors to Dublin on Saturday, 13 March, and Scotland, providing the opposition a week later on Saturday, 20 March.

As was the case this year, the 2010 schedule will include on Friday night game, with Wales taking on France at the Millennium Stadium on Friday, 26 February.
