Chris Paterson was today recalled to the Scotland side for Saturday's RBS 6 Nations clash with Ireland - but head coach Frank Hadden delayed finalising his selection at second row.
Paterson, Scotland's record points scorer and most capped player, was controversially left out of the starting line-up for the opening three games of the championship.
He comes in for Edinburgh team-mate Hugo Southwell at full-back, one of two definite changes from the team which beat Italy just over a week ago.
The other sees Alasdair Dickinson replace fellow prop Allan Jacobsen, who underwent shoulder surgery last week and will be out for up to four months.
