France lock Romain Millo-Chluski has been ruled out of Sunday's Six Nations game against England at Twickenham because of injury and will be replaced by number eight Louis Picamoles.

‘Millo-Chluski suffered a recurrence of an Achilles tendon injury against Perpignan on Friday evening,’ France team media officer Lionel Rossigneux told reporters on Monday.

‘He has been ruled out after medical tests and will be replaced by Louis Picamoles.’

The withdrawal of Millo-Chluski and the recall of Picamoles leaves the French squad with only two locks, Lionel Nallet and Jerome Thion.

Sebastien Chabal, included in the group as a backrower for the first time in four games, could switch back to the second row.

Coach Marc Lievremont is due to announce his starting line-up on Wednesday.
