Raphael Ibanez is set to confirm his retirement from international rugby today.
The Wasps hooker, who captained France at the 1999 and 2007 World Cups, should make the announcement at a press conference he has convened in Dax.
The 34-year-old has played 98 times for Les Bleus, 41 of those caps coming as captain.
He made his debut in a Test match against Wales in March 1996, with his last cap coming in the bronze-medal play-off defeat to Argentina at the Parc des Princes in last year's World Cup.
