The match commissioners during the Ireland 19-18 win over Scotland in the RBS Six nations last weekend have found no citable acts of foul play.

After the game, concern was voiced that Ronan O'Gara was choked at the end of the game but on review no evidence has been found.

The IRFU said today that the Ireland squad and management have accepted the decision and now consider the matter closed.

The IRFU also stated that at no point did Irish Coach Eddie O'Sullivan say that Ronan O'Gara could have died.  They claim that it is a mis-quote from the Irish press conference that took place on Sunday Morning. It is anticipated that the remarks attributed to Eddie O'Sullivan will be retracted by publications that used them.
