Eve McMahon and Rocco Wright have both won gold for Ireland at the Allianz Youth Sailing World Championships in The Netherlands

McMahon and Wright, from Howth, sealed the championships in their single-handed dinghy events at The Hague in light wind conditions.

McMahon recently completed her Leaving Cert and last week won the European Championship in her ILCA6 class - she will defend her 2021 world title in Texas later this month.

Wright won gold on his first appearance at the Youth Worlds after a fourth place today broke the tie-break by a single point.
