Diarmuid Kilgallen has extended his stay at Munster

Munster winger Diarmuid Kilgallen has agreed a two-year contract extension that will keep him at the province until at least 2028 while fellow winger Thaakir Abrahams is to return to South Africa at the end of the season as he joins Vodacom Bulls.

Kilgallen made his first Munster appearance in November 2024 against the All Blacks XV and the 25-year-old has scored six tries in 15 appearances since.

He linked up with the Ireland squad last June as training cover for the injured Calvin Nash.

Meanwhile, Abrahams has joined up with Bulls on a two-year deal, with former Springbok Curwin Bosch another notable addition to their squad.

The player, who can also feature at full-back, joined Munster ahead of the 2024/25 season from Top 14 outfit Lyon.

He played 54 minutes in Saturday's URC loss to Connacht before being replaced by Seán O’Brien.
