Munster's Jack O'Donoghue has signed a new contract

Jack O'Donoghue will remain at Munster for another season after agreeing a one-year contract extension at the province.

The 32-year-old, who has played 234 times for Munster since his debut in 2014, is the latest first team regular to be retained for next season, after contracts for Calvin Nash and Edwin Edogbo were confirmed last week.

O'Donoghue, who was the youngest Munster player to hit 200 appearances back in 2024, has been regular stand-in captain through the years, while he was named the province's Player of the Year in 2021/22.

The Waterford native has also won two Ireland caps, making his debut against Canada in 2016.

A versatile back-row, O'Donoghue has continued to be a regular under head coach Clayton McMillan this season, scoring three tries in 17 appearances.
