Leinster are eyeing one final push against Edinburgh to end the current block of games on a high, according to the province's assistant coach Robin McBryde.

The weekend's inter-pro victory over Connacht at the new-look Dexcom Stadium marked a 10th win in a row across the BKT United Rugby Championship and Investec Champions Cup.

And this Saturday at Aviva Stadium against Edinburgh, Leinster will aim to make that 11 before a four-week fixture break due to the Guinness Six Nations taking precedence.

After turning a slow start to the season around on the results front, McBryde is hopeful that the team can cap off the recent turnaround in style.

"We've got to finish the job on Saturday," the Welshman said.

"It's been good. After a difficult start (to the season), we've kept building on week by week because it's been a long block.

"I think everyone's looking forward to having a break after Saturday. So it's one final push really.

"Obviously, there's a different feel, a different energy about the place this week, having lost the number of internationals who have gone to represent their country, which is always an honour.

"So different energy, different buzz around the place and everybody is getting excited for the weekend."

Edinburgh, who will also be Leinster's round-of-16 opponents in the Champions Cup in April, go into Saturday's URC visit to Dublin off the back of a narrow home defeat to the Bulls last Friday.

But McBryde is wary of a backlash from the Scottish side, who are 12th in the table.

"They're a pretty cohesive bunch," he said.

"I think they'll be hurting after their result last weekend. They'll be keen to finish this block on a high as well.

"It's always good to finish on a victory before any sort of break because the result sits with you.

"So it'll be tough enough. We've just got to improve on certain aspects of the game from last Saturday and re-knuckle down.

"(Monday), the weather was awful but it didn't detract from the energy in the session which was great from a player point of view."
