Leinster boss Leo Cullen says Tadhg Furlong's early substitution in the win over Bayonne was precautionary after the Ireland prop felt tightness in his calf.
The 33-year-old first-choice tighthead prop has struggled with calf issues in the past; he was replaced by Thomas Clarkson in the 16th minute at Stade Jean-Dauger.
"He just felt it was tightening up early," said Cullen as reported in the Irish Independent.
"Then it was like, 'OK, he's feeling this run in, let’s make the call here now'."
"If something happened to Tom Clarkson, could Tadhg have come back on? Maybe he could have at the end, but again, we’ll just get that all checked."
Ireland centre Robbie Henshaw suffered a knee injury in the 34th minute, while Ireland wing Tommy O'Brien (below) pulled up with a calf injury just after the break.

Full-back Jimmy O'Brien was taken off near the end due to injury and Cullen said he believed they were mostly soft-tissue injuries and that they would have a clearer picture on Monday.
Leinster play Connacht in the URC next weekend at the Dexcom Stadium.
Ireland head coach Andy Farrell will name his squad for the Guinness Six Nations on Wednesday afternoon.
Connacht tighthead prop Finlay Bealham is currently injured and alongside Leinster and Ireland loosehead prop Andrew Porter, who can cover tighthead, is expected to miss the opening round of the Six Nations against France on 5 February.
Paddy McCarthy, who dovetailed with Porter in the November internationals, is also sidelined with a foot issue.
