Leinster centre Robbie Henshaw is a doubt for Saturday's BKT United Rugby Championship clash with Connacht Rugby (kick-off 5.30pm) at Aviva Stadium.

The 32-year-old started the gritty 13-8 victory over Munster at Thomond Park last time out, but was forced off shortly before the interval with a finger injury, replaced by Charlie Tector.

Leinster say a decision on his availability for the URC round 9 clash will be made later this week.

Backrower James Culhane has resumed training, though Leo Cullen will remain without the services of the injured Hugo Keenan, Jamie Osborne, Ryan Baird, Jordan Larmour, Garry Ringrose, RG Snyman and Jimmy O'Brien.

Leinster’s fifth victory of the URC season lifted them to sixth in the table on 25 points after a tricky start to the campaign.

They host an Connacht side that travel to Dublin on the back of an interpro defeat to Ulster in Galway which.

With just two wins from seven outings, Stuart Lancaster’s side occupy ninth position in the table on 16 games having played a game less than Leinster.
