Leo Cullen has rested a number of frontline internationals for Friday night's United Rugby Championship clash with Ulster at Aviva Stadium, making 11 changes from the team that battled past Leicester last week.
Only James Lowe, Jack Conan, Rieko Ioane and James Ryan survive from the starting XV at Welford Road, with the latter in line to earn his 100th cap.
"James has been club captain here in the past and is such a pivotal part of the group... We would have seen James come through from when he was playing in school.
"I saw footage this week of him against Will Conners' Clongowes team, they would have played against each other. I remember being down in Donnybrook that day watching those guys in action, so to see him come through and see what he has achieved... So big day for him," Cullen said of Ryan's 100th cap.
Conan captains the side at number eight, with Scott Penny and Alex Soroka on the flanks.
Ryan is joined in the engine room by Brian Deeny.
In the front row, Jack Boyle and Rabah Slimani will scrum down either side of Gus McCarthy, who has been named at hooker.
Ioane will make his first appearance in the URC outside of Charlie Tector in the centre, with out-half Sam Prendergast partnering Luke McGrath at scrum-half.
Ciarán Frawley has been named at 15 after coming off the bench to slot in at full-back for most of last Friday's 23-15 comeback win over the Tigers, with Lowe and Joshua Kenny on the wings.
Dan Sheehan, Paddy McCarthy and Tadhg Furlong will provide the front row cover for tomorrow night's game, with Joe McCarthy and Max Deegan completing the forward replacements.
Cullen does admit that Ulster have been travelling well this year and is hoping for a large Aviva Stadium crowd to help his side take the win.
"Really tough challenge for us against ulster this week, they have been travelling particularly well and scoring plenty of tries, so hopefully we get a big crowd down at the Aviva... The games are coming thick and fast at this time of year and hopefully we can put in a good performance," he said.
Fintan Gunne and Harry Byrne are the reserve half-backs and Ruben Moloney completes the matchday squad.
For the visitors, Australian international prop, Angus Bell, is set to make his first start for the province, while Ireland centre Stuart McCloskey returns from a recent groin injury to start at 12.
Among the replacements, Ethan McIlroy is in line for a first appearance since suffering an ACL injury in January.
In the front row, Bell is joined by Ireland international forwards in hooker, Tom Stewart, and tighthead prop, Tom O'Toole.
Harry Sheridan and Charlie Irvine continue to start together in the second-row .
David McCann starts at blindside flanker, with Nick Timoney captaining the team at openside flanker. South African forward, Juarno Augustus, starts at number eight.
Scrum-half Nathan Doak and fly-half Jack Murphy return to resume their partnership in the half back positions.
Head coach Richie Murphy selects two wingers in top try scoring form, with Werner Kok on the left and Robert Baloucoune on the right. Both wings have scored five tries each this season for the province.
McCloskey makes a welcome return to the side in the midfield, alongside Jude Postlethwaite at outside centre.
Ireland international, Jacob Stockdale, completes the XV at full-back.
Murphy opts for a 5:3 split among the replacements, which features a blend of experience and young talent.
John Andrew, Sam Crean, Scott Wilson, Joe Hopes and Academy back-row, Bryn Ward, form the forward replacements, with Conor McKee, Jake Flannery and McIlroy the backline cover options.
