Connacht are still counting the cost of Sunday's Challenge Cup defeat to Ospreys with four players ruled out of Saturday's round-two tie against Georgia's Black Lion.
Stuart Lancaster's men blew a 21-5 half-time lead in the 24-21 loss at Brewery Field.
They host the Georgian side, who lost at home to Montpellier, without Ireland prop Finlay Bealham (concussion), Jack Aungier (elbow), Sean Naughton (ankle), and Shane Jennings (quad).
Cian Prendergast (hamstring), Josh Ioane (groin) and Peter Dooley (hamstring) will be further evaluated ahead of the 20 December game against the Dragons but are not considered for this weekend.
Caolin Blade (achilles) and Shamus Hurley-Langton (shoulder) are both available for selection after recovering from injury.
There were no further updates on Byron Ralston (knee), Oisin Dowling (knee), Temi Lasisi (knee) and Oisin McCormack (hamstring), while Ireland wing Mack Hansen is recoverying well one week after foot surgery.
The 27-year-old is, however, looking at months rather than weeks out.
Scrum and contact coach Cullie Tucker said: "The surgery went well. It was obviously an unusual and invasive surgery for him.
"He's in the very, very early parts of recovery now. In terms of timeline, I'm not exactly sure but you're talking months for sure.
"It's very, very early stages after it but he's out and he's at home recovering at the moment."
Despite racing into a three-try lead, Connacht were unable to score after the 23rd minute and were eventually pegged back by Mark Jones' side.
Tucker, who will leave Connacht at the end of the season to take charge of the Ireland Under-20s, said they needed to be better at converting their chances: "I think it's execution, I think the disappointing element... like the first 30 minutes, we were unbelievably clinical in the 22.
"We were in there four times and we scored three tries and then we left two go before half-time and that kind of kept going for the second half.
"We just weren't converting when we were in there.
"For us it's very much just executing, we make good decisions in terms of what we were going after but our execution, whether it be called back at a tap [penalty] or a crooked throw or a turnover at a ruck, that comes back to those kind of individual moments for us.
"Just a little bit more accuracy there where we can build some more scoreboard pressure, exactly like we did in the first 30 minutes, that's the template for us but it came down to execution we feel for sure."
