Stuart McCloskey remains in contention for Ireland's Autumn Nations Series clash against Japan on Saturday with the Ulster centre nursing a groin injury from the defeat to New Zealand.
McCloskey, one of Ireland’s better performers in Chicago, was withdrawn in the 56th minute of the 26-13 loss.
McCloskey's replacement on Saturday Bundee Aki, Garry Ringrose, Robbie Henshaw, Ciarán Frawley, Jamie Osborne and the uncapped Tom Farrell are among head coach Andy Farrell’s midfield options for the Aviva Stadium clash (12.40pm).
Meanwhile, captain Caelan Doris came through the game unscathed as he made a first appearance since recovering from a shoulder injury that required surgery last May.
"Stuart McCloskey (groin) is a doubt for Saturday’s game and will continue to be monitored with a decision on his availability expected to be made later this week," said the IRFU.
"Caelan Doris (below) successfully came through his first match since May."
Lock James Ryan was removed for a head injury assessment in the first half of the game but was able to return to the action.

The Ireland team to face Japan will be named at lunchtime on Thursday, with over 49,600 tickets sold for the game.
The matches against Australia (15 November) and South Africa (22 November) have sold out.
