Ireland completed their final training session before travelling to England for the Women's Rugby World Cup with no issues.
Head coach Scott Bemand declared everyone had gone through their paces at the IRFU's High Performance Centre in Blanchardstown and will depart as planned for the UK Midlands tomorrow.
Ireland will face Japan, Spain and New Zealand in Pool C with their opening game on 24 August at Franklin's Gardens in Northampton.
The squad assembled to accept the 'Green Wave’ jersey that had toured around the country and been signed by well-wishers and supporters before collecting their World Cup gear.
On Monday, Bemand made his 32-player squad public with Aoife Wafer and Edel McMahon included despite recovering from knee injuries.
He indicated that Wafer, the Six Nations player of the tournament, would be unlikely to feature against Japan and that there were no major injury concerns following the warm-up matches.
All bar hooker Clíodhna Moloney-MacDonald will be making their first appearance at a World Cup.
Ireland hosted the tournament in 2017 and failed to qualify for the last edition, held in 2022.
"It’s so surreal, it’s starting to feel real now," centre Aoife Dalton (above) told RTÉ Sport.
"We just had our last session before we go.
"It’s crazy, I never thought I’d be able to do anything like this. It’s really exciting."
Ireland had a mixed return from their double-header of warm-up games, beating Scotland, 27-21, and losing to 47-26 to Canada.
"We didn’t started very well in both games and finished a lot stronger, it just took us a while to get going," said the 22-year-old Offaly native, who was named Ireland’s player of the year last season.
"We’re very glad of that now. Our session out there today was a lot better than it has been in the last few weeks.
"We’re in a good place coming into the World Cup.
"I’ve no doubt we’ll have our ups and downs as we always do but I can’t wait to get stuck into it now."
