Ireland international Aoife Wafer is among the four nominees for the 2025 Guinness Six Nations Player of the Year.

Ireland finished third in the standings with two wins from five, with the backrower enjoying a superb campaign in green.

Despite missing the Scotland defeat through injury, the 22-year-old made more carries (70) than any other player in the tournament, while her tally of four tries meant she finished as second-highest try scorer, crossing more than any other forward in the competition.

The Wexford native has been strongly linked with a move to the Premiership.

Wafer is up against England winger Abby Dow, France second-row Manae Feleu and Scotland backrow Evie Gallagher for the award.

Online voting will continue until 6 May on the competition's website before the winner is revealed.
