Tadhg Furlong will play his first game since October, while RG Snyman and Jordie Barrett are both held back on the bench for Leinster's Investec Champions Cup meeting with La Rochelle on Sunday.
The tighthead prop hasn't played since Leinster’s win against Munster back in mid-October, having struggled with a hamstring injury.
However, the 32-year-old makes a welcome return for Leo Cullen’s side for their Pool 2 trip to Ronan O’Gara’s side, making his 150th appearance for the province.
Furlong is one of three changes to the side that defeated Munster at Thomond Park on 27 December, replacing Rabah Slimani who drops to the bench.
Cian Healy also comes into the front row in place of Jack Boyle, while Andrew Porter is named on the bench, just as he was at Thomond Park, with Leinster introducing him just over 20 minutes into the game that night.
The rest of the pack is unchanged, with James Ryan and Joe McCarthy packing down in the second row and Snyman and Jack Conan part of a star-studded bench.
Ryan Baird keeps his place at blindside flanker, with Josh van der Flier and captain Caelan Doris also starting in the back row.
Jamison Gibson-Park comes in for Luke McGrath at scrum-half, partnering Sam Prendergast behind the scrum.
Robbie Henshaw and Garry Ringrose are retained in the centre, as are Tommy and Jimmy O’Brien on the wings.
Jamie Osborne continues at full-back, with Hugo Keenan given an extra week to complete his comeback from a wrist injury.

Mike Haley is named at full-back with Calvin Nash and Shane Daly on either wing.
Ireland internationals Murray and Crowley team up in the half-backs as Rory Scannell and Farrell continue their centre partnership.
Scrum-half Murray returns from an elbow injury for his first Munster appearance since October and earns his 198th cap for the province, who were beaten by Leinster in their last game in the URC before the New Year.
Dian Bleuler, Niall Scannell and Oli Jager pack down in the front row with Fineen Wycherley and captain Tadhg Beirne completing an unchanged front five.
O’Donoghue returns from a shoulder injury to join Alex Kendellen and Gavin Coombes in the back row.
Diarmuid Barron, John Ryan and Stephen Archer provide the front row back-up with Barron set to make his return from a shoulder injury.
Tom Ahern, John Hodnett and Brian Gleeson complete the forward cover.
Paddy Patterson and Billy Burns are the backline replacements.
Munster sit third in the group after a win over Stade Francais and a loss at Castres. Mark McCall's outfit are in second place following victories over Bulls and Stade in their opening games.

Iain Henderson will captain Ulster in Saturday’s must-win Pool 1 game away to Leicester Tigers, with the Ireland international among six changes from the URC win against Connacht.
Henderson, who missed the Christmas Interpros due to injury, replaces Kieran Treadwell in the second row where he partners Cormac Izuchukwu.
Andrew Warwick comes in at loosehead prop, replacing Eric O’Sullivan, with John Andrew and the in-form Scott Wilson completing the front row.
There’s also one change to the back row, with David McCann returning in place of Matty Rea. McCann starts at number 8, as James McNabney pivots to the blindside flank, and Nick Timoney retaining his place at openside.
Nathan Doak continues at scrum-half, although John Cooney makes his injury return on the bench. Aidan Morgan comes back into the side at out-half, with Jack Murphy – son of head coach Richie – on the replacements.
Stuart McCloskey remains sidelined through injury, so Ben Carson and Jude Postlethwaite continue in the centre.
Ethan McIlroy comes in at full-back for Mike Lowry, with Werner Kok and Zac Ward on the wings, as Rory Telfer drops to the bench.

There's a new second row of Oisín Dowling and the returning Joe Joyce, while prop Dooley also makes his first start since recovering from a calf injury.
Dave Heffernan and Finlay Bealham complete the pack.
In the backs, Ben Murphy and Josh Ioane are selected at scrum-half and out-half, respectively, while Piers O’Conor shifts to outside centre to partner Bundee Aki.
In the back three, Santiago Cordero moves to full-back with Shane Jennings and Chay Mullins on the wing.
Ireland wing Mack Hansen serves the first of a three-match ban for the Westerners, who have won both Pool 1 games, against Zebre and Perpignan, to date.
The French visitors are second in the table after victories over Zebre and Cardiff.
