Leinster captain Hannah O'Connor has retired after the province sealed a fourth Vodafone Women's Interprovincial Championship title.
Leinster beat Munster 27-7 in Belfast on Saturday to clinch the trophy and in the aftermath, former Ireland international O'Connor confirmed that she had called time on her career in blue at the age of 34, having informed her team-mates of her decision during the week.
O'Connor, who made her Leinster debut in 2018, was not involved against Munster due to injury.
But Leinster and Ireland centre Leah Tarpey said the Kildare native's team-mates had been keen to perform to their maximum in tribute to their retiring captain.
"Coming into this game today we just really wanted to do it for Hannah who obviously missed out today," she said.
"I'm just so proud of the whole group that we were able to do it for her."
O'Connor won 21 caps for Ireland, the last of which came during this year's Six Nations.
