Munster could have Antoine Frisch fit for Friday's BKT United Rugby Championship quarter-final against the Ospreys, although head coach Graham Rowntree doesn't expect to have Alex Nankivell available.
The centre pair missed out on Saturday's comeback win over Ulster due to leg issues, while a serious ankle injury for Rory Scannell forced them into a tactical switch in the opening half last weekend, as Jack Crowley moved to inside centre, with Joey Carbery at out-half.
On Saturday evening, Rowntree appeared confident when asked about the prospect of Frisch being fit for Friday's visit of the Ospreys (live on RTÉ), although New Zealander Nankivell is unlikely to recover from his ankle issue on time.
The likelihood is that Frisch will slot into the centre alongside Seán O'Brien, although the Munster coach could be tempted by starting Carbery at 10, and moving Crowley into the 12 shirt, a combination that impressed on Saturday.
Carbery is heading into his final weeks at Munster ahead of a summer move to France, and Rowntree says the 28-year-old has been impressing.
"Played well, didn't he? [Carbery]," Rowntree (below) said.
"He is about to be a father as well. He has a lot on his mind, a lot on his mind at the moment, Joey.
"We have always had that ability for Jack to move to 12 and for Joey to come on. We trained that in the week. I thought he brought composure tonight."
Saturday's win against Ulster was Munster's ninth in a row in the URC, their longest winning run since early 2017, while they've picked up a try bonus-point in eight of those nine wins.
One of those victories came against this week's opposition, Ospreys, back in March, when an outstanding defensive performance saw them win an arm-wrestle 27-17.
On the night, Munster took advantage of a wasteful and generous Ospreys, who gifted centre Sean O'Brien two first-half intercept tries, while the Welsh side missed out on a losing bonus after Alex Cuthbert suffered a hamstring injury when he looked destined to score a try late on.
"We don't do things easy. We like a bit of jeopardy. The mentality is the next game, play-off rugby, anything can happen," Rowntree added.
"Ospreys coming here, as I say, good team, well coached, nothing to lose.
"We have some things to address there around our game particularly individually. The guys know, they are an honest group. Guys know who have made those errors.
"This week is about getting ourselves right physically and mentally for play-off rugby. Friday night is not ideal, but we will roll with the punches. We don't do things easy as you have seen over the years, over this season.
"We are into play-off rugby now, dust ourselves down, pick a team middle of the week."

The defending champions are on a roll as they head into the final three weeks of the season, and are the form team in the league as they look to retain their title.
The big difference between last season and this season, however, is home advantage. Having played five away games in a row to finish out last season, Munster's top-seed in the URC means they'll play any and all play-off games at home.
And Rowntree says giving the Munster supporters a play-off game on home soil is an overdue reward.
"It is special," he said.
"We are genuinely spoilt with our support, home and away. We have spoken about it as a group, about being able to play here without getting ahead of ourselves.
"I spoke at the start of the week about the irrelevance of permutations around home semi, home final, it doesn't matter, you have to win this game, you have to win this game against a team who are rejuvenated.
"It is a special place to play. Full stop. It is a cathedral of rugby, this.
"What can I say? I am immensely proud of how we finished the league as number one, given what we went through. But, again, you don't get a trophy for that."
