Ireland and New Zealand are set to clash again

New Zealand have confirmed they will take on Ireland as part of their northern hemisphere tour this November.

The All Blacks revealed their schedule for the year on Wednesday, with a mouthwatering rematch against Andy Farrell's men pencilled in for Saturday 9 November.

The teams collided in the World Cup quarter-final last October, a game which New Zealand shaded 28-24. That was a desperately bitter pill for the Irish to swallow, but they will get a chance to gain a modicum of revenge in just over 10 months' time.

The last time New Zealand came to Dublin was in November 2021, when Ireland earned a 29-20 success.

Farrell subsequently guided the team to a famous series win in New Zealand the following summer, but the Kiwis had the last laugh when they came out on top at the World Cup. They reached the final but were beaten by South Africa.

Farrell's immediate focus is on the Six Nations, which begins against France on Friday night. But an All Blacks blockbuster is the perfect way to focus concentration longer term, with Farrell set to step away from Ireland in December to focus on leading the Lions 2025 tour of Australia.
