Ireland out-half Dannah O'Brien will make her first TikTok Women’s Six Nations start against France on Saturday as one of five changes to the team.
Head coach Greg McWilliams has opted for the 19-year-old Carlow native, who made her Irish debut on the tour to Japan last summer, with Nicole Cronin dropping to the bench.
O’Brien, who came on in last week's 31-5 loss to Wales, will win her fourth cap and is partnered at half-back by Molly Scuffil-McCabe for the Musgrave Park clash against Les Bleues, who beat Italy 22-12 in round one.
Elsewhere, the injured Enya Breen is replaced in the centre by Vicky Irwin, who is promoted off the bench.
Christy Haney starts at tighthead prop with Linda Djougang switching to loosehead.
The back row sees two changes with Grace Moore and Deirbhile Nic a Bháird starting after coming off the bench last weekend, while Dorothy Wall keeps her place.
Uncapped front row forwards Clara Nielson and Kathryn Buggy and are in line to make their Ireland debuts after being named among the replacements.
Hooker Neve Jones, and locks Sam Monaghan and Nichola Fryday, the latter who captains the team, retain their places.
The back three remains unchanged with Méabh Deely continuing at full-back and Aoife Doyle and Natasja Behan on the wings.
McWilliams said: "Last week was a disappointing start to the campaign for us but we turned the page quickly and were honest with ourselves.
"We know this journey is going to take time and require patience, and we are working hard as a group to learn those lessons and make positive progress every time we step on the field.
"Saturday is another opportunity for us to do that and returning to Musgrave Park is an exciting prospect for us all.
"The support of our home crowd, family and friends is so important to us, and with the backing of the Irish people, we can make strides in the right direction."
France, meanwhile, have made just two changes from their hard-fought win in Parma.
Uncapped Morgane Bourgeois replaces Emilie Boulard at full-back, while Clara Joyeux starts ahead of Assia Khalfaoui at tighthead.
