South Africa's Jaco Peyper will take charge of Ireland v Wales in the opening match of the 2022 Guinness Six Nations.
Organisers today released the list of officials for the tournament, which gets under way at the Aviva Stadium on 5 February, kick-off 2.15pm.
Peyper last took charge of an Ireland game when Andy Farrell’s side lost 24-14 to England at Twickenham in the 2020 Six Nations.
The man in the middle for Ireland’s second outing against France in Paris is Angus Gardner from Australia, while Georgia’s Nika Amashukeli takes charge for the visit of Italy in round three.
France’s Mathieu Raynal, who on Saturday exchanged words with Ireland centre Bundee Aki following Connacht’s Champions Cup defeat to Leicester, referees England against Ireland.
The final match of the Irish campaign is against Scotland and England’s Wayne Barnes takes charge.
