Ireland's must-win Rugby World Cup qualifier against Scotland on Saturday will be shown live on RTÉ2 and the RTÉ Player.

Following a loss to Spain and a win against Italy, Adam Griggs' side have to beat Scotland next Saturday, and hope for an Italian win versus Spain, a combination that would guarantee qualification for next year’s tournament in New Zealand.

Regardless of the Spain-Italy result, Ireland would at least qualify for a repechage, against Samoa, Colombia and an Asian qualifier, with a win against the Scots.

Daire O'Brien will be joined by Louise Galvin in studio with Fiona Coghlan alongside Des Curran on commentary.

The game kicks-off at 5pm with full live commentary also on RTÉ Radio 1’s Saturday Sport.

Later at 7pm on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player, Jacqui Hurley will be in Thomond Park alongside Jamie Heaslip, Niamh Briggs and Peter Stringer as Munster get their inaugural United Rugby Championship campaign up and running against South Africa's Cell C Sharks.

Donal Lenihan will join Hugh Cahill on commentary with Bernard Jackman reporting from pitchside, kick-off 7.35pm.

The following weekend sees Munster at home against DHL Stormers on Saturday 2 October (7pm, RTÉ2 & RTÉ Player) with Leinster travelling to Rodney Parade to take on Dragons on Sunday 3 October (1.45pm, RTÉ2 & RTÉ Player).
