The Ireland Sevens squad has been named for their upcoming Olympic qualifying tournament in Monaco.
Billy Dardis will captain the side who will be playing with nine other countries for the one remaining place in Tokyo. There are two uncapped players included - Gavin Mullin and Ulster winger Aaron Sexton - as well as last season's top try scorer in the World Series Jordan Conroy.
Ireland are in Pool A alongside Zimbabwe, Mexico, Tonga and Samoa, with the top two teams qualifying for the semi-finals. The final, which will decide the team that will travel to the Olympic Games, is due to take place on the evening of 20 June.
IRFU Director of Sevens and Women's Rugby, Anthony Eddy said of his selection for tournament at Stade Louis II, "I am really happy with the squad, and I must admit there were some really tough decisions as the competition within the squad has been at an all-time high in recent weeks.
"A number of players have been preparing for this tournament and opportunity for a number of years and they all know exactly what is at stake.
"I know they will be determined to be at their best and put in a performance over the weekend that they can be proud of. All the teams participating are chasing the same outcome so we must be at our best and we are looking forward to it."
