Ulster's Will Addison has been hit with a four-week ban following his red card against Munster last Friday.
Dan McFarland’s side fell to a crushing 38-1o defeat at Thomond Park in the Guinness Pro14 Rainbow Cup, their second successive defeat in the competition.
Their plight on the night was not helped when the Ireland international was dismissed for a late and high hit which made contact with Shane Daly’s head.
Judicial Officer Rhian Williams (WRU) concluded that a mid-range offence had occurred, with a mid-range entry point of six weeks, reduced to four weeks owing to "the lack of aggravating circumstances and the range of mitigating factors advanced by the player".
Addison will now miss tomorrow's trip to Leinster as well as Scarlets (home) and Edinburgh (away).
