Ulster's Andrew Warwick has been banned for two games following the red card in the Guinness Pro14 game with Leinster last weekend.

Warwick was shown a red card by referee Frank Murphy in the 38-19 defeat.

A Disciplinary Panel consisting Roddy MacLeod (chair), Frank Hadden and Beth Dickens (all Scottish Rugby Union) concluded that an act of foul play had occurred and that it was reckless conduct.

However, as the contact to the opponent’s neck was secondary contact and there was no injury to the opponent, the panel found that it merited a low-end entry point.

Warwick  will miss Ulster’s game with Dragons and Zebre - their final regular season games.

Ulster are second in Conference A in the Pro 14.
