Leinster out-half Harry Byrne will follow the return to play protocols ahead of this weekend's trip to face Ulster after being withdrawn during Sunday's Guinness Pro14 win over Glasgow Warriors.
The 21-year-old is among three players undergoing further assessment ahead of the province's trip to face Ulster on Saturday.
Fellow backs Ciarán Frawley, who injured his shoulder in the warm up on Sunday, and Cian Kelleher, who received stitches to a facial injury during the match, will also be assessed.
But full-back Jimmy O'Brien will be available for selection against Ulster after coming through the Glasgow game unscathed following his return from a hamstring injury.
However, Tommy O'Brien (ankle), Adam Byrne (quad), Caelan Doris (concussive symptoms), Dan Leavy (knee), Conor O’Brien (knee), Max Deegan (knee) and Vakh Abdaladze (back) all remain sidelined.
