Munster's Jean Kleyn has been suspended for two weeks after being cited for dangerous play in their Guinness Pro14 defeat to Leinster last weekend.
The South African-born second row was cited under the law governing "dangerous play in a ruck or maul. A player must not make contact with an opponent above the line of the shoulders."
The 27-year-old Ireland international will miss just one match, Saturday's game against Treviso, as he will be eligible to play on 15 February, five days before Munster's trip to Edinburgh.
The citing officer concluded that an act of foul play had occurred. The incident was found to merit a mid-range entry point, which carries a four-week suspension.
However, it was determined that there were mitigating factors, including the player's acceptance of the foul play, timely remorse and previous clean disciplinary record, which under the disciplinary rules warranted a reduction in the sanction of two weeks.
