Ireland internationals Jacob Stockdale, Eric O'Sullivan, Stuart McCloskey and Rob Herring will slot straight back into the Ulster starting team for the opening Heineken Champions Cup pool match against Toulouse.

The quartet, who were involved in Ireland's autumn campaign, have been named in Dan McFarland's 15 for Friday's 8pm kick-off at Kingspan Stadium, with captain Iain Henderson unavailable after sustaining a knee injury against Scotland last weekend.

Stockdale will play on the wing, in a back three, alongside Michael Lowry and Matt Faddes, who will be on the opposite flank.

McCloskey forms the centre partnership with James Hume, while Ian Madigan and Johny Cooney make up a half-back duo possessing Irish international experience.

O'Sullivan, who made his Ireland debut against Scotland last week at the end of the Autumn Nations Cup, is in the front row alongside Rob Herring and Marty Moore, while Alan O'Connor and matchday captain Sam Carter are in the second row.

Sean Reidy, Jordi Murphy and Marcell Coetzee are the back row partnership.
