Saturday's Guinness Pro14 clash between Connacht and the Dragons has been postponed due to an outbreak of Covid-19 within the Dragons' squad.

The Dragons returned seven new positive Covid-19 tests this week during the course of the Welsh Rugby's weekly testing programme.

Working alongside Public Health Wales the decision has been made to close operations within the club for a fortnight, with no training or games to take place during this time.

Munster, who played against Dragons last weekend, have returned a full list of negative results from their PCR testing this week.

Along with tomorrow's game against Connacht, the round 6 game against Glasgow Warriors has been postponed while the round 6 fixture with Edinburgh is also under review.

All Connacht Professional Squad players and staff tested negative this week and will now begin preparations for Saturday week's fixture against Scarlets at The Sportsground.
