Munster captain Peter O'Mahony is free to play this Saturday against Edinburgh in the Pro14 after a judicial review into his red card against Scarlets last week.

O’Mahony was shown two separate yellow cards by referee Sam Grove-White under a law which states players must not do anything that is reckless or dangerous to others.

The Judicial Officer, Sheriff Kathrine Mackie, has found that with the application of mitigating and aggravating features, that the sending off was sufficient and no suspension should be applied.

O'Mahony can now feature in Thomond Park on Saturday.
