Ireland will be confident of avenging a 2016 defeat to minnows Jamaica when they open their 2021 Rugby League World Cup campaign against the Reggae Warriors at Headingley on 24 October.
Ireland have been drawn against Jamaica, Lebanon and New Zealand in Pool C in the 16-team tournament in England.
The Caribbean nation inflicted a 68-16 defeat on the Wolfhounds in Bray in October 2016, but that win came over an all-amateur Ireland outfit.
Ireland's second group encounter will come against Lebanon in Leigh on 31 October, while New Zealand lie in wait at Headingley on 5 November.
Stuart Littler's charges are currently ranked 12th in the world and will be hoping to advance to the knockout stages for the first time since 2008, with the top two teams in each group progressing.
Australia will begin the defence of their title against Fiji in Hull on 23 October, while hosts England open the tournament against Samoa in Newcastle on the same day.
England will then face France in Bolton on 30 October, before taking on debutants Greece in Sheffield in their final Group A match on 6 November.
The final takes place at Old Trafford in Manchester on 27 November.
In the women's World Cup, England take on Brazil at Headingley on 9 November.
They also face matches against Papua New Guinea and Canada in Group A.
