Munster back row Arno Botha has been suspended for three weeks following his red card against Saracens last weekend.
The South African was sent off in the 80th minute of Munster's 10-3 Champions Cup win for leading with the forearm into Nick Tompkins.
An independent disciplinary committee found Botha guilty of reckless striking with the arm and imposed a six-week penalty, reduced by 50% due to a guilty plea and expression of remortse.
He will miss Saturday's return fixture with Saracens and the interprovincial clashes with Connacht (21 December) and Leinster (28 December) but will be eligible to face Ulster on 3 January.
Having left Limerick with a losing bonus point despite resting some of their established stars, Saracens are expected to recall the likes of Owen Farrell, George Kruis, Elliot Daly, Liam Williams, and Billy and Mako Vunipola this weekend.
"They have a quality squad across the board but we said last week we were just going to concentrate on ourselves and how we can perform," Munster back Rory Scannell told RTÉ Sport.
"There's a few lads that will probably return this week. They had a strong squad at the weekend and no doubt they'll be strong again this week."
Both teams remain firmly in contention in what is a very competitive pool.
"It's such a tight group. There will probably only be one team to get out of it. We're in the same position we were last year, just sitting a point behind Racing this time around.
"You can't afford to slip and three teams are still in the mix to come out of the group so we'll have to be at our best come Saturday."
