Ireland Men will face Spain in tomorrow's 11th-place play-off after a recording a win and a loss on day two of the World Rugby Sevens Series in Dubai.
Jordan Conroy, Terry Kennedy and captain Billy Dardis scored the tries in a 45-21 loss to Australia in the morning.
But Offaly flyer Conroy stole the show in the afternoon, touching down five times in a 31-29 win over Scotland.

Meanwhile, the women's team face England tomorrow morning in a play-off for ninth place following a 38-5 defeat to Australia and a 28-12 loss to Fiji.
Amee-Leigh Murphy Crowe got the only Irish score against the Aussies, and notched another against Fiji, with Eve Higgins also getting on the scoresheet.
