Bundee Aki has signed a three-year central contract extension with the IRFU that will see him remain at Connacht until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Aki, who joined Connacht from Super Rugby side the Chiefs in 2014, has gone on to play 92 times for the province, scoring 18 tries.
He was a central figure in Connacht's 2016 Pro12 success and was selected as the Pro12 player of the year.
The 29-year-old made his international debut for Ireland in a 38-3 victory over South Africa in 2017 and has gone on to win 23 caps and score four tries.
Aki featured against against Scotland, Russia and Samoa at the Rugby World Cup in Japan, but the centre's campaign came to a premature end after he was hit with a three-match ban for a high tackle on UJ Seuteni in Ireland's pool encounter against the Polynesians.
