Joey Carbery is a late withdrawal from the Ireland squad to face Russia in their Rugby World Cup Pool A encounter in Kobe this morning.
Conor Murray will take his Munster team-mate's spot on the bench after Carbery pulled up with an ankle problem in training yesterday.
Carbery was cover for scrum-half Luke McGrath, despite being a fly-half by trade, and Murray represents a more like-for-like replacement should he be required.
According to the IRFU, Carbery "felt some irritation in the ankle after captain's run and it was felt best not to risk him."
