Former Munster coach Felix Jones is set to join South Africa as their new attack coach, according to a report.
South African news outlet IOL claim that Jones is set to replace Swys de Bruin, who recently resigned for personal reasons, before the start of the World Cup in Japan.
Jones worked with Springboks head coach Rassie Erasmus during the latter's time as Munster director of rugby.
Erasmus is understood to have previously had a move for Jones rebuffed by Munster but Jones left the province along with Jerry Flannery back in June and is now a free agent.
Should Jones make the move to South Africa, he would become the third member of the Munster backroom staff to join Erasmus, linking up with defence coach Jacques Nienaber and conditioning coach Aled Walters.
